Full field stand counts now available from Agribotix

Boulder, Colorado, USA
June 26, 2018

Today, Agribotix is making available its new Plant Count report as a premium product.  It works for Corn from V3-V5, as well as for other crop types like vegetables and trees.

The Agribotix FarmLens Plant Count Report utilizes the latest in machine learning and image recognition technologies to count every plant in a field.  The Report shows the actual count and compares it with the as-planted data.

While a manual count is time-consuming to create and is only valid for a small area around that location, the Agribotix Stand Count Report provides a whole field evaluation showing areas of poor emergence, no matter where they happen. It provides the hard data that farmers and agronomists need to make the difficult decision to replant or provides the evidence necessary to claim a refund for poorly performing seed.

What is the Cost of the Plant Count Report?
The Agribotix FarmLens Stand Count Report costs $1.50/acre with a 50-acre minimum.

How Do I Get Started?
Log into your FarmLens account, then select Process, Upload and select the Stand Count report type.  If you have tried an earlier version of our Plant Count please note the new recommended flight parameters.  See here for more details on the overall process. The stand count will work for corn from V3 and other plants as long as they are clearly visible in the individual images.

How Long Does It Take To Produce?
Results take about two business days from when payment is received.
