(“MBI” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ:MBII), a leading provider of bio-based pest management and plant health products for the agriculture, turf and ornamental and water treatment markets, today announced the hiring of Rachel Land as Territory Sales Manager for the newly established Idaho territory.

Ms. Land was formerly with Dow AgroSciences in Nampa, Idaho, where she managed a significant sales territory. During her tenure at Dow AgroSciences, Ms. Land established and maintained relationships with key regional customers while driving double-digit revenue growth. Prior to Dow AgroSciences, she oversaw Fruit Science operations at Cal Poly Corporation in San Luis Obispo, CA. Ms. Land obtained a bachelor’s degree in Crop Science with a minor in Fruit Science from California Polytechnic State University.
