On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, Stokes Seeds hosted their 20th Annual Growers’ Day Dinner at De Thomasi’s – 5 Point Inn in Vineland, NJ. Approximately 100 customers, representing many of the larger growers in the region, were given an opportunity to network with vendor representatives and Stokes staff. Terrific food and beverages were enjoyed at this very informative evening.
Vendors present at the dinner were Seminis, HM Clause, Enza Zaden, Syngenta, Crookham and Sakata who provided slide show presentations reviewing new varieties that were of great interest to grower attendees.
Wayne Gale, President of Stokes Seeds, spoke about how long the company has been in the region of Vineland, NJ and how for the past 20 years of building relationships, he truly appreciates the loyalty of the growers in the area.
Bruce Ulmer, US Sales Manager for Stokes Seeds, stated, “Stokes is pleased to serve producers in New Jersey and the Delmarva region. This event provides an ideal forum to develop relationships, share information between growers and seed suppliers and show our appreciation for their business”.
