Dairyland Seed announces Corn Silage Yieldmaster Contest winners

Dairyland Seed recently announced the National and State winners for its annual Corn Silage Yieldmaster Contest. 

The title of National Corn Silage Yieldmaster was awarded to Robert Staudinger of Reedsville, WI with a yield of 38.28 tons/acre with HiDF-3808RA.

Iowa Corn Silage Yieldmasters:

  • First Place: Bill Regan of Waukon – 36.60 tons/acre with HiDF-3915SSX
  • Second Place: Les Brown, Denison – 36.32 tons/acre with HiDF-3510
  • Third Place: Michael Ryan, Ryan – 32.38 tons/acre with DS-9713RA

Michigan Corn Silage Yieldmaster:

  • First Place: Mark Johnston of Peck – 28.30 tons/acre with HiDF-3211RA

Minnesota Corn Silage Yieldmasters:

  • First Place: Justin Luthens of Hutchinson – 35.41 tons/acre with HiDF-3808RA
  • Second Place: Gorentz Dairy, Vergas – 34.41 tons/acre with HiDF-3702-9
  • Third Place: Dan Dreyer, Ottertail – 31.92 tons/acre with HiDF-3808RA

North Dakota Corn Silage Yieldmasters:

  • First Place: Victor Lagodinski of Edgeley – 33.35 tons/acre with HiDF-3510RA
  • Second Place: Collin Laplant, Binford – 32.61 tons/acre with HiDF-3915SSX
  • Third Place: P&C Van Bedaf, Carrington – 24.59 tons/acre with HiDF-3702-9

South Dakota Corn Silage Yieldmasters: 

  • First Place: Bill & Eric Mueller of Big Stone City – 35.09 tons/acre with HiDF-3510RA
  • Second Place: Wayne Johnson, Webster – 30.43 tons/acre with HiDF-3510RA
  • Third Place: Todd Whempner, Wilmot – 29.44 tons/acre with HiDF-3808RA

Wisconsin Corn Silage Yieldmasters: 

  • First Place: Robert Staudinger of Reedsville – 38.28 tons/acre with HiDF-3808RA
  • Second Place: Ron Daane/Daane Dairy, Brandon – 36.77 tons/acre with HiDF-3510SSX
  • Third Place: Tony Fischer, Mt. Hope – 36.39 tons/acre with HiDF-3510SSX
