USA - Bayer salutes success: dryland cotton growers achieve high yields - It’s time to join the 121 dryland growers who harvest half-ton yields
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA
November 1, 2017
No cotton grower is handed success. This is especially true when growers efficiently maximize dryland production. The annual FiberMax® Maximizer Club™ applauds dryland growers who start with high-performing germplasm then add their expertise to produce high cotton yields, and signups now are open. Qualified growers who attend the Maximizer Club event also can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a Polaris Ranger XP 1000 EPS.
To qualify for the FiberMax Maximizer Club, growers must produce an average of 1,000 lb/A on 20 or more dryland acres planted to FiberMax varieties. Additionally, growers must plant 100 percent FiberMax cotton seed on qualifying acres from January 1–December 31, 2017.
“Cotton yields are under constant threat from Mother Nature,” says Kerry Grossweiler, Bayer campaign manager. “Growers who take on the additional challenge of raising a crop on dryland deserve to be recognized for their dedication and expertise.”
Growers producing 1,000 lb/A and living in any of the 17 cotton-producing states are eligible to sign up for the Maximizer Club. To register, talk to your local sales rep or Bayer Agronomic Services Team member. Entered acres must be registered in the Certified FiberMax Cotton® program, and gin recap sheets are required for verification.
Qualifiers will be recognized at the Maximizer Club grower awards banquet in Lubbock, Texas, on April 4, 2018, where they will have the opportunity to enter the sweepstakes for the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 EPS. Learn more at www.FiberMax.com/MaximizerClub.
