Bosnia and Herzegovina deposited its instrument of accession to the UPOV Convention1 on October 10, 2017, and will become the seventy-fifth member of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV) on November 10, 2017.
The purpose of UPOV is to provide and promote an effective system of plant variety protection, with the aim of encouraging the development of new varieties of plants, for the benefit of society.
UPOV is an intergovernmental organization based in Geneva.
The members of UPOV are:

La Bosnie-Herzégovine adhère à la Convention internationale pour la protection des obtentions végétales
Aujourd’hui, la Bosnie-Herzégovine a déposé son instrument d’adhésion à la Convention UPOV1 et deviendra le soixante-quinzième membre de l’Union internationale pour la protection des obtentions végétales (UPOV) le 10 novembre 2017.
La mission de l’UPOV est de mettre en place et promouvoir un système efficace de protection des variétés végétales afin d’encourager l’obtention de variétés dans l’intérêt de tous.
L’UPOV est une organisation intergouvernementale qui a son siège à Genève.
Bosnien-Herzegowina tritt dem Internationalen Übereinkommen zum Schutz von Pflanzenzüchtungen bei
Am 10. Oktober 2017 hat Bosnien-Herzegowina ihre Beitrittsurkunde betreffend das UPOV-Übereinkommen1 hinterlegt. Bosnien-Herzegowina wird am 10. November 2017 das fünfundsiebzigste Mitglied des Internationalen Verbandes zum Schutz von Pflanzenzüchtungen (UPOV) sein.
Die Aufgabe der UPOV ist die Bereitstellung und Förderung eines wirksamen Sortenschutzsystems mit dem Ziel, die Entwicklung neuer Pflanzensorten zum Nutzen der Gesellschaft zu begünstigen.
Die UPOV ist eine zwischenstaatliche Organisation mit Sitz in Genf.
​Bosnia y Herzegovina se adhiere al Convenio Internacional para la Protección de las Obtenciones Vegetales
El 10 de octubre de 2017 Bosnia y Herzegovina ha depositado su instrumento de adhesión al Convenio UPOV1; asimismo Bosnia y Herzegovina se convertirá en el septuagésimo quinto miembro de la Unión Internacional para la Protección de las Obtenciones Vegetales (UPOV) el 10 de noviembre de 2017.
La misión de la UPOV es proporcionar y fomentar un sistema eficaz para la protección de las variedades vegetales, con miras al desarrollo de nuevas variedades vegetales para beneficio de la sociedad.
La UPOV es una organización intergubernamental con sede en Ginebra.
