DLF Pickseed Canada completes the acquisition of Moore Seeds

DLF Pickseed Canada announces that the closing of the acquisition of Moore Seeds was completed as planned on July 1, 2017.
Moore Seeds, located in Debolt, Alberta, has significant market share presence in the Peace River turfgrass and forage crop seed production area, with sales across the Canadian, USA and European export markets.
“I feel that DLF Pickseed Canada will provide strong management succession for Moore Seeds when I retire in a few years. In the meantime, we are excited in becoming part of the DLF organization and seeking synergies through their global leadership in market share and research and development,” says Raymond Walker, President.
“Moore Seeds represents a significant addition and a highly complementary fit for DLF Pickseed Canada,” says Rob Clark, President and CEO. “We are looking forward to working with Raymond and the Moore Seeds team who will continue as a separate entity operating as DLF Moore Seed.”
