Hall, New York, USA
June 2, 2017

SEEDWAY, LLC announced Shane Laurie has accepted the position of District Sales Manager for Western, NY. Shane will provide seed sales and service for SEEDWAY dealers and customers throughout the region.

In 2011 Shane earned his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York College at Potsdam. Throughout college Shane worked as an Equipment Operator on JPL Farms Inc. before accepting a job as Associate Plant Manager with Cargill. From there Shane was able to move up in the ranks and was most recently the Plant Manager for Cargill at the Kissimmee, Florida location. The time with Cargill Feed & Nutrition afforded Shane insight and knowledge in proper animal nutrition solutions from the aspects of development to manufacturing to the final stages of marketing with the producers and dealers.

Shane will be relocating from Florida to the New York area with his girlfriend Kiersten and their two dogs Wyatt and Casey. In his spare time Shane enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting and playing hockey.

Headquartered in Hall, NY, SEEDWAY, LLC operates nine locations in five states from Vermont to Florida. A full-line seed company, marketing farm and turf seed in fourteen Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states and vegetable seed from the US Rocky Mountains to the east coast and the southern provinces of Canada, SEEDWAY, LLC is a subsidiary of GROWMARK, Inc., Bloomington, IL.
