United Kingdom - Barenbrug at BTME 2017, demonstrating next-level perennial ryegrasses and fescues

United Kingdom
November 28, 2016

Barenbrug, the UK’s biggest and most innovative grass seed producer will be showcasing its market-leading, BSPB Turfgrass Seed #1-ranked ryegrass cultivar, Barolympic at BTME 2017, on stand A41.

Barolympic is now available in four mixtures: BAR EXTREME, BAR MEDAL, BAR PLATINUM and BAR SALT & DROUGHT; each designed to enable greenkeepers and groundsmen to achieve their best surface yet, even in the most extreme environments.

Barenbrug will also showcase BAR FESCUE, still the number one fescue mix on the market for close mowing applications, featuring the #1 slender creeping red fescue, Viktorka, and the #1 Chewings red fescue, Barlineus.

Says Dr Dave Greenshields, Amenity Business Manager: “We’re looking forward to talking to turf professionals about Barolympic, and what it can offer them in terms of close-mowing tolerance, pale colour, wear tolerance and playability.  Our technical sales team—now up to five, with the recruitment of Phil Dick for North England & Ireland and Luke Hunt for the South East—will be on hand to answer questions and provide spot-on advice on grass related topics.”

Visitors to the Barenbrug stand (A41) will also get the chance to learn about RPR, the unique Barenbrug grass seed taking the sports turf world by storm. Now available in three mixtures: EXTREME RPR for summer sports, RPR STADIUM for winter sports and BAR SPRINT for racecourses.
