Elsoms, the Seed Specialists, are pleased to announce that David Coop is to join our senior management team in the newly created role of Head of Business Development.

Elsoms have a strong business with an excellent reputation and long-established partnerships.  We’ve long invested in scientific research and new technologies to expand and improve.  Our recent successes prove the strong benefits of this approach.

David will work to identify new business opportunities across our current portfolio and will look for ways to expand into new areas of business.

David joins Elsoms from Westland Horticulture as Head of Technical Development where he was a key member of their management team for eight years, delivering many significant and highly successful new products during his time there.  He is also a Director of the Crop Protection Association and Chairman of the British Ornamental Plant Producers group.  Prior to Westland, David was employed by Bayer CropScience, working in a wide variety of strategic marketing and technical roles, based in Germany, France, the UK, and USA.

David’s appointment underlines Elsoms’ determination to expand our highly successful business by driving innovation for our customers.
