Barenbrug, the UK grass seed expert, has appointed Luke Hunt as new Area Manager for the East and South East of England.
Luke joined Barenbrug in the summer of 2016. An ex-greenkeeper—most recently at the Hotchkin course at the National Golf Centre, Woodhall Spa—Luke is an established seed and Sportsturf expert, with five years’ experience working with seed breeders and merchants throughout the UK and Europe.

He brings with him, not only a passion for the industry and an understanding from a user perspective, he is also an expert in amenity grass and UK native wildflower seeds—an area we’re keen to expand on.”
Luke’s journey into Sportsturf began when his love of golf first led him into greenkeeping. Today he plays off a handicap of three (very nearly two!).
