Bloomington, Minnesota, USA
August 31, 2016
On August 9th 2016, Betaseed, Inc. welcomed six interns and their supervisors to the Tangent, OR seed processing facility. The interns were hired through the internship program which was designed to expose them to as many of the day-to-day activities as possible and offer a broad overview of all sugarbeet business activities. Toward the end of the internship period, each intern presented what they had learned over the summer to their peers and the Betaseed, Inc. leadership team. The primary goal of the presentation was to teach them to be comfortable presenting, and to provide an opportunity to discuss the program.

While in Tangent, the interns had the opportunity to tour the new facility. During the tour they were exposed to one of the integral parts of this business. This exposure and knowledge will help them look at a business not only as a whole but at the various parts as well. Betaseed, Inc. appreciates the time and knowledge this year’s interns have given the company.
