The Netherlands

Agrinetwork Alliance is a cooperative that was recently set up by three entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the Dutch agribusiness. The aim of Agrinetwork Alliance is to help foreign companies and authorities find their way in the Dutch agribusiness.
The founders of Agrinetwork Alliance are Clemens Stolk, Aad van Elsen and Mia Buma (pictured above).
Mia is well known in the floricultural industry through among others her work for the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH). Aad is particularly knowledgeable about the seed industry, as he served for almost a quarter of a century as director of the Dutch seed trade association. Clemens has a background in the plant sciences and is focused on bridging the gap between science and industry.
“We see that many companies have difficulties in finding the right person to talk to”, Aad says. “This can be true for companies inside the Netherlands, but even more so for foreign companies and institutions”. “The responses we are receiving now indicate that our services fulfill a need indeed,” Mia adds.
