Betaseed announces the scholarship winner in the Western Sugar South area

BETASEED, INC., announces the 2016 scholarship winner in the Western Sugar South area. Jacob Horstman was awarded the five-hundred dollar scholarship. Jacob graduated from Hemingford High School and will be attending Doane University this fall where he will be studying Health Science.
Betaseed awards annual scholarships to students to help further their college education. The scholarship committee selected Jacob based on the essay he submitted on “The History and Future of Sugarbeets”. Brian Specht, sales representative with Betaseed, presented Jacob with the scholarship award. Betaseed is proud to support the region’s youth and wishes Jacob a very successful college career.
