Marrone Bio Innovation CEO and Founder, Pamela Marrone, elected by Cornell Alumni to the Board of Trustees

Cornell University alumni have elected Pamela Marrone, Class of 1978 to the Cornell University Board of Trustees for a four-year term.
"It's an incredible honor to be able to serve my alma mater in this manner," says Marrone, "I was honored just to be asked to run."
Marrone has served Cornell University on the Cornell University Council and on the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network. She is a member of the CALS Dean's Advisory Council and serves on the CALS Alumni Career Link. Since 1994, she has annually sponsored Cornell student externs and interns at the three companies she has founded. "I especially enjoy sponsoring and working with Cornell students who shadow me and work as interns in their chosen field of study," says Marrone.
Marrone appeared on a ballot of four candidates. Nominees for this ballot were reviewed by the Committee on Alumni Trustee Nominations, which endorsed the final four candidates. Nearly 20,000 alumni cast electronic or paper ballots during the voting period. Also elected was Katrina James '96.
