Betaseed, Inc. announces 2016 Scholarship Winner in the Western Sugar South area

Betaseed, Inc. announces the 2016 Scholarship Winner in the Western Sugar South area. Jessica Nelson was awarded the $500 Scholarship. Jessica graduated from Mitchell High School and will be attending Western Nebraska Community College and Chadron State College where she will major in Radiology. Jessica is the daughter of Kellie Wilhem of Mitchell, Nebraska.
Betaseed awards annual scholarships to students to help further their college education. The scholarship committee selected Jessica based on the essay she submitted on “The History and Future of Sugarbeets”. Mike Marker, sales representative with Betaseed, presented Jessica with the check. Betaseed is proud to support the region’s youth and wishes Jessica a very successful college career.
