Agria Corporation announces change to its board of directors

Agria Corporation (NYSE: GRO) (the "Company" or "Agria") today announced that the Company's executive director Mr. Brent de Jong will step down, effective May 31, 2016. Having been a director of the Company since the 8th of June 2015, Mr. de Jong is stepping down from his Board position to focus on personal and other business interests and commitments.
Alan Lai, Executive Chairman of the Company, commented, "During the last year with the Company, Mr. de Jong made significant contributions to the Company's success. As a member of the Board, he helped position the Company for future growth, especially in expanding our international footprint.
