Arysta LifeScience North America recently announced the addition of David Davies (picture) to its marketing team. As marketing manager, Davies will focus on fungicides and herbicides for the specialty crop business.
Davies has worked in the agriculture business for more than 25 years, with experience in North American and international crop/non-crop markets.
Davies most recently worked at FMC Corporation as segment marketing manager for tree fruit, vines and vegetables. Additionally, he has held marketing, sales and research and development roles at UPI/Cerexagri and BASF/Cynamid.
Davies received a Master of Science degree in entomology from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and a Master of Business with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He will work out of the office in Cary, North Carolina.
"David's wealth of experience in the specialty crop market has allowed him to hit the ground running," said Deneen Sebastian, Senior Marketing Manager, Arysta LifeScience. "He will be a great asset to the Arysta LifeScience team as we continue to grow our specialty crop business."
