Manitou Opera House receives grant from DuPont Pioneer Canada

Manitou, Manitoba, Canada
March 17, 2016

Manitou Opera House is pleased to announce that DuPont Pioneer donated $ 2,500 as part of its Community Investment Corporate Giving Grant program.

The grant will specifically be used to purchase a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher for the kitchen, and a table and chairs for the boardroom. Andy Keen, Pioneer sales representative endorsed the grant.

"We are happy to make this donation as it adds social value to our community and contributes to the sustainability of youth art," said Scott McIntosh, Account Manager, DuPont Pioneer

"This donation will enable us in continuing our 85 year old tradition of serving the local community by hosting youth programs, regional festivals, concerts, dances, and community celebrations," says Al Thorleifson of the Manitou Opera House.

Pioneer makes contributions to community-based organizations on behalf of the business and employees. Consideration for outreach grants are given to communities where Pioneer representatives, employees and customers live and work and that support quality-of-life initiatives to create an improved, sustainable lifestyle for people worldwide.
