New Zealand - Amendment to Import Health Standard 155.02.05: Seeds for Sowing

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has issued an amendment to the import health standard (IHS) 155.02.05 Seeds for Sowing under section 24A of the Biosecurity Act (1993). The IHS, dated 21 January 2016, replaces the earlier version of the standard dated 21 December 2015. The revised IHS can be downloaded here:

The following changes have been incorporated in this amendment to the IHS:
- Rubus schedule: A minor amendment has been issued reinstating the Rubus schedule. This schedule does cover all seeds for sowing imported under Rubus.
- Section 1.9 Seed for sowing imported as laboratory specimens: This section has been revised and now provide further clarification on all the requirements for seeds for sowing imported as laboratory specimens.
