Enza Zaden buys broccoli breeding programme

 Enza Zaden has purchased the range of broccoli varieties and the broccoli breeding programme of the American company R&D AG, Inc. This international vegetable breeding company’s portfolio comprises 23 crops, including Brassica.

Our great strength is the combination of creativity, expertise and many years’ experience in breeding programmes,” says Jaap Mazereeuw, Enza Zaden’s Managing Director. “More than 30% of our turnover we invest in innovation. This broccoli programme is a welcome addition to our breeding activities.”
