SeedWay LLC has acquired certain farm seed business assets of Reed’s Seeds

SEEDWAY, LLC has acquired certain farm seed business assets of Reed’s Seeds, Cortland, NY. Reed’s Seeds has been owned and operated by the Reed family for over a century. The business operated from the Reed family farm, which is recognized as a Century Farm and has been in the Reed family since 1810. Mr. Don Reed is a distinguished plant breeder and seedsman who has elected to divest some of his business interests at this time. Reed’s Seeds will continue to distribute vegetable seed for the coming season.

For more than five decades SEEDWAY has offered a full-line of farm seed including: field corn, soybeans, small grains, forages and cover crops to Northeast growers. SEEDWAY runs the most comprehensive testing and selection program in the region to offer the most highly adapted solutions to Northeast growers.
