It contains an easy to read account of the development of various genetically modified or biotech rice that contains pest and disease resistance, abiotic stress tolerance, with enhanced nutrition and other various biotech rice applications.
An updated version of Pocket K 16 on Global Status of Commercialized Biotech/GM Crops in 2009 is also available at http://www.isaaa.org/resources/publications/pocketk/16/default.asp.
