To underscore this powerful position and to distinguish itself even more, a new logo has been introduced. It symbolises the growth and innovative character of the company and is intended to contribute to even better brand recognition.
Bakker Brothers is well known in the Middle East, Africa and the countries around the Mediterranean Sea. The company, with its head office in Noord-Scharwoude, has various trial stations in the Netherlands, Jordan and South Africa and testing plots across the world. Everything focuses on creating and selecting the right vegetable varieties for various target markets in the world; taking into account diverse climatic conditions and market demands. By investing significantly in their own research & development facilities and by working closely with leading universities and institutes, Bakker Brothers has access to the latest techniques and technologies that are used for the breeding and development of bean, eggplant, pepper and tomato varieties.
New logo
The innovation and development that Bakker Brothers is undergoing, requires a new corporate identity. A logo, with a familiar blue colour that relates to the two Bs of Bakker Brothers, depicts growth, from a powerful seed to a strong plant. This symbolizes the growth and innovation spirit of the company. The new corporate identity will be presented in the Bakker Brothers stand during the ‘Seeds meets Technology’ trade fair, which will be held from 22 to 25 September in Zwaagdijk Oost.
Seed Valley
Bakker Brothers is one of the 35 vegetable seed companies in the ‘Kop van Noord-Holland’ (an area in North Holland) that have joined forces to become Seed Valley: an alliance of plant breeders and seed technology companies.
