Grass expert, Barenbrug, is giving all visitors to stand G055, the opportunity to win £15,000 in a crack-the-safe competition.
In return for registering their contact details, visitors will get the chance to guess the six-digit combination for the Barenbrug safe. The first person to correctly identify the numbers in the right order, will win the money.
“Crack-the-safe kicks off our winter sports turf campaign. We have big news to announce this year. A new product that will make the lives of groundsmen, stadium and facilities managers, easier than ever. Join us to learn more, and get the chance to win £15,000.” explains Paul Warner, Barenbrug UK, Marketing Manager.
“It’s also a chance for us to get to know our customers better, so we can continue to support them. We’re constantly innovating to meet the needs of sports turf professionals. Groundsmen: to help them achieve unprecedented results. And, facility managers: to get the most out of their budgets.”
A Twitter competition will run alongside the two day event, so turf professionals who can’t attend SALTEX, will still have the opportunity to ‘crack the code’ and win the cash.
Ask a grass breeder
Visitors to the stand will get the chance to speak to Dr David Greenshields, Barenbrug Research and Development Manager—who’ll be on hand to answer anything and everything about grass.
Barenbrug UK specialises in grass seed breeding, production and marketing to the agricultural and amenity markets. The Barenbrug name has been synonymous with the introduction of innovative grass seed solutions and is raising the standard in the research and breeding of forage and amenity grasses in the UK since its formation in 1904 in Holland. More than 4,000 tonnes of grass seed are distributed each year, with blending facilities in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and Falkirk and a mixing site in Loughgall, Northern Ireland.
