First China-Russia exhibition and marketing activity of agro-machinery products held in Heilongjiang Province

The first China-Russia Exhibition and Marketing Activity of Agro-Machinery Products was successfully held in Jiamusi of Heilongjiang Province.
The activity was sponsored by Heilongjiang Provincial Government, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, and China-Russia Chamber of Machinery and Electronic Products, and operated by the Department of Commerce of Heilongjiang Province and Jiamusi Municipal Government. In total, 750 display booths were provided for the exhibition of harvest machinery, power machinery, engineering machinery, vehicles and accessories, with the participation of over 1,000 domestic and foreign purchasers. Due to geological advantage, Jiamusi is also a key area for Russia purchasers of agro-machinery.
Last year, US $470 million worth of agro-machinery products were exported to Russia. During this activity, agreements were reached on 20 agro-machinery products and agricultural service projects, amounting to US $310 million. Companies from China and Russia have also signed a number of important contracts in vehicle tires and accessories, combine harvester and trucks. Talks were held regarding to the establishment of assembly center in Amur Region of Russia for technological cooperation of agro-machinery.
