Illinois Foundation Seeds, Inc. CEO to Retire
Illinois Foundation Seeds, Inc. (IFSI) announced today that John Hiser will retire as Chief Executive Officer effective October 1, 2015. Chief Financial Officer George Terry has been named to succeed John as CEO. George has over 39 years of experience with IFSI in several capacities and his close working relationship with John and the Board of Directors will insure a smooth transition.
John Hiser has a 37 year career with IFSI with experience in research, sales, brokerage and general management. He is a former President of the Illinois Seed Trade Association and Vice President of the Illinois Crop Improvement Association. John will remain on the IFSI Board of Directors.
Naugle Named IFSI Sweet Corn Division President
Illinois Foundation Seeds, Inc. (IFSI) is pleased to announce that Clinton Naugle has accepted the position of Sweet Corn Division President. Clinton will work with the CEO and Board of Directors to assure the Division reaches strategic and financial goals and most importantly, exceeds client expectations for product and service. Clinton has previously served the IFSI Sweet Corn Division as Key Account Manager.
Thompson Named Vice-President of IFSI Sweet Corn Research
Illinois Foundation Seeds, Inc. (IFSI) is pleased to announce that Charlie Thompson has accepted the position of Vice-President of Sweet Corn Research. Charlie will be responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of plant breeding and product development techniques continuing the IFSI tradition of industry leading Sweet Corn Genetics. Charlie was previously the Sweet Corn Breeder and Station Manager in Tolono, IL. He will remain at this location.
