Agri-Tech East is to launch its next Special Interest Group “Big Data in Agriculture” at the headquarters of Plextek in Cambridge on 29th April 2015.

The SIG co-chairs are are Matthew Smith, Computational Ecologist at Microsoft Research; Dr Mark Reader, Rural Business Unit, Dept of Land Economy at Cambridge University; and Robert Allen, Research Manager of Greenvale AP. Robert is also a Nuffield Scholar 2014; his area of study is turning data into information and he will be sharing his thinking at the SIG meeting on the 29th April.
