A strategic alliance is established by the Dutch Biotech companies Genetwister Technologies B.V. and ServiceXS B.V.. The two innovative companies will be collaborating providers for future and existing customers and will share their networks. The collaboration will provide synergy in support of genomic breeding and biotechnology which will be beneficial to customers.
ServiceXS provides whole service solutions for genomic and proteomic research in the animal- and human field and medium/high throughput services for amongst others nucleic acid sequencing, genotyping, gene expression analysis and CNV analysis. Genetwister provides genomic breeding and biotechnology solutions in the field of agri- and horticultural crops and provides "marker and trait discovery" and "bio-informatics" services in general.
The companies share the same vision on technology development and offer complementary biotechnology services. The collaboration will provide a full coverage of services for plant, animal, and human genomics ranging from experimental design, high quality data production, data analysis with state of the art bioinformatics, to dedicated implementations for customers.
