InVigor KMOT Ag Expo Canola Sessions - Educational meetings for seasonsed and new canola farmers
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA
January 12, 2015
The latest trial results, benefits seen with various harvesting approaches and regional disease updates are the hot topics on the agenda for this year’s Canola Grow More sessions hosted by Bayer CropScience and InVigor® canola hybrids. Farmers can attend the free sessions conveniently while attending the KMOT Ag Expo in Minot, N.D.
Each 30-minute session will provide the same information and be held in the meeting room behind the Bayer CropScience booth, #30 in the Titan Machinery Hall. The schedule is:
- 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28;
- 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29; and
- 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan 30.
At the Canola Grow More sessions, farmers will get in-depth information on the pod shatter tolerance trait introduced last year in InVigor L140P. The sessions will also provide updates on sclerotinia and blackleg management, as well as canola variety trials.
“We believe canola is a profitable and important rotation crop for farmers across North Dakota, Montana and Minnesota,” says Kyle Rollness, InVigor U.S. sales lead for Bayer CropScience. “The KMOT Ag Expo sessions aim to equip farmers with the latest agronomic and crop management knowledge, so they can take full advantage of the high-yielding canola genetics they plant.”
In addition to attending the educational sessions, farmers can enter the Grow More Giveaway to win eight bags of InVigor L252 seed when they stop by the Bayer CropScience booth.
