2015 Plant Biosecurity Manual Tasmania now available

The new edition of 2015 Plant Biosecurity Manual Tasmania (formerly the Plant Quarantine Manual Tasmania) is now available. The changes in this edition take legal effect from the date of public release, 17 December 2014.
Changes include:
- regulations concerning soil, potting media, declared weeds as contaminants, alternative fumigation and treatment standards, semi-processed and processed plant products, amendments to rules on packaging entering the state, and restrictions on fodder entering the state
- revisions to import requirements for fruit fly and fruit fly host produce, blueberry rust, conditions of import of bulk grain for animal feed, seed imports and nursery stock
- updates to Tasmania’s Regulated Quarantine Pest List A and B Pests and Diseases, and Unwanted Quarantine Pests (and Diseases), including the revocation of tobacco rattle virus, declaration of little cherry virus 2, and name changes for blueberry rust and myrtle rust.
