Arysta LifeScience North America recently received a supplemental label for PH-D® Fungicide in the state of California.

PH-D is a broad-spectrum, Group 19 fungicide. Its unique mode of action makes it an ideal addition to a rotational program to aid in resistance management as it works by preventing cell wall construction via chitin inhibition by enzyme interference. PH-D should be applied preventatively, particularly when climatic conditions exist for disease development.

For control of Alternaria spp and Botrytis spp and suppression of Botryosphaeria spp, the PH-D label in California now includes the following crops:

• Berry and small fruit
• Cucurbits
• Fruiting vegetables
• Pome fruits
• Root and tuber vegetables
• Leaves of root and tuber vegetables
• Stone fruits
• Pomegranates
• Tree nuts
• Grapes (for Alternaria)
