Hoegemeyer Hybrids announces the addition of Kevin Krohn and Kim Mundil to its staff.
Krohn was recently hired as Supply Chain Coordinator for Hoegemeyer where he works with the Hoegemeyer team and supply chain to keep track of Hoegemeyer product inventory at any given time throughout the year.
Krohn grew up on a family farm near Hooper, Nebraska and worked for Hoegemeyer Hybrids as a detasseler and in the nursery crew while in high school. He received a degree in Meteorology and Secondary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and worked as a school teacher prior to this position at Hoegemeyer.
“Growing up on a farm near here and having previous work experience for Hoegemeyer gave me a good understanding of the family-type environment that I would be entering into here at Hoegemeyer,” Krohn said. “I’m glad that I can have a part in giving back to the type of lifestyle that I grew up in.”
Mundil was recently hired as a Customer Service Representative and is responsible for working with DSM’s, dealers and customers to answer questions and provide assistance during their seed purchase process.
Mundil grew up on a farm near Utica, Nebraska and currently resides in Uehling with her family. She received a degree in mathematics from Wayne State College and worked as a legal assistant at Johnson & Mock in Oakland, NE, previously.
“I enjoy getting to know the great people that I work with here at Hoegemeyer and am excited to learn more about the seed business,” said Mundil.
“We’re excited to have Kevin and Kim join our staff,” said Chris Hoegemeyer, Hoegemeyer operations manager. “They both have a customer service-minded focus and have shown great attention to important details which will benefit our company now and as we grow into the future.”
