Golden Acres Genetics announces two new Kansas sales representatives

Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. is pleased to announce the newest additions to their sales team. David Shirk of Johnson, Kansas and Justin Comer of Colby, Kansas. David will service southwest Kansas and Justin will cover the northwest Kansas corn and sorghum market. Golden Acres President Lou Buice says, “We’re extremely pleased to have both David and Justin join the Golden Acres Team.
Collectively, they have over 30 years of experience servicing Kansas farmers and will be a great asset to Golden Acres in this very important market area.”
David (left) is a native of Kansas and has been servicing southwest Kansans with their corn and sorghum seed needs since 1986. He was most recently with Syngenta Seeds and has represented both the Garst and Golden Harvest brands as a sales representative in southwest Kansas. David and his wife Liz have been married for 34 years and have three children.
Justin (right) comes to Golden Acres after seed industry experience with Fontanelle Hybrids and, most recently, Taylor Seed Farms in western Kansas and eastern Colorado. Justin and his wife Mary have been married for 25 years and also have three children.
Both Justin and David will begin their new positions with Golden Acres effective July 15, 2014.
