CRX 75408 F1, the new cherry tomato with incredible red color and taste

Cesena, Italy
June 4, 2014

Cora Seeds, an Italian seed company specialising in the research, creation and sale of hybrids, added the CRX 75408 F1 variety of cherry tomatoes among its products with the objective of making consumers fall in love with the colour and sweetness of this type of tomato again.

Cherry tomatoes on the market often have a very light colour and little taste, but consumers who buy them are looking precisely for taste, that is why CRX 75408 F1 is perfect.

It is just another great product from Cora Seeds – its objective is to develop products based on high agronomic value to facilitate the work of growers but also with good organoleptic qualities in order to satisfy final consumers.

CRX 75408 F1 cherry tomatoes are ideal for cultivating in plastic polytunnels or greenhouses for spring-summer early-ripening cycles. Fruits weigh around 20 grams and are deep red with a delicious sweet taste (up to 10 degrees Brix).

In addition, they are resistant to Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV), Verticillium (V), Tomato Mosaic Virus (ToMV), Nematodes (Ma, Mi, Mj) and F 0-1.

The variety is actually part of a range of tomatoes that have a very deep colour and taste:

CRX 75431 F1: cherry tomatoes with a deep taste, 30 gram fruits and high lycopene content.

CRX 75289 F1: miniplum tomatoes, 20 gram fruits and high sugar content.

Great taste and colour for the new varieties of Cora Seeds tomatoes.
