ADAS are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Boxworth Open Day this summer. This free demonstration of HGCA, Defra and commercially-funded agricultural research will take place at ADAS Boxworth on 3rd June.
This popular event, will demonstrate HGCA, Defra and commercially funded research aimed at maximising margins, improving crop production efficiency and providing environmental benefits. This provides an opportunity to meet the experts and find out about the latest agricultural research on a range of topics, including:
• New weed management options for wheat and oilseed rape
• The best wheat and oilseed rape varieties for your farm
• Disease control in wheat and oilseed rape
• Sulphur and nitrogen management in oilseed rape
• Pollen beetle control in oilseed rape
• Alternatives cereals – triticale and hybrid barley
• Research to improve wheat yields – the Yield Enhancement Network.
The event will start at 12 noon and finish at 4.00pm, and BASIS points and NRoSO accreditation will be available.
