New Zealand - Amendment to IHS 155.02.06 Importation of Nursery Stock

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has issued an urgent amendment to the import health standard (IHS) 155.02.06 Importation of Nursery Stock under section 24B of the Biosecurity Act (1993). The IHS, dated 21 March 2014, replaces the earlier version of the standard dated 11 March 2014. The revised IHS is available to view on the following website:

The following changes have been made to the import health standard:
- The Rubus schedule was amended to include specific phytosanitary measures for Erwinia amylovora f.sp. rubi and for Raspberry latent virus.
- Tomato black ring virus (TBRV, now present in New Zealand and classified as non-regulated) was removed from the Rubus schedule as specific testing is no longer required for this virus.
