Makhteshim Agan Industries, a leading global provider of crop protection solutions, will be sponsoring the Agrivest Event, which brings together agritech innovators and investors for a four-day tour and conference, December 2-5.

At the conference, Mr. Harari will be speaking on “Differentiation Through Innovation,” a cornerstone of MAI’s business strategy. His presentation takes place Tuesday, December 3, at The Eretz Israel Museum, Tel-Aviv, at 16:30.
“Making the Desert Bloom,” is the theme of the first day of the event, during which the Company will host a tour of its Neot Hovav manufacturing plant. The plant is itself the site of major innovations, in fields such as creating new manufacturing efficiencies and in the biological treatment of hazardous waste. Other activities on that day include a visit to the Volcani Center, the agricultural research organization of the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and a session with experts from Ben Gurion University at the Desert Research Center.
The Agrivest event is being organized by Trendlines Agtech, a venture accelerator that invests in agricultural and food technologies that contribute to solving the global food crisis.
