Hoegemeyer Hybrids announces the addition of Brandon Wollberg and Craig Langemeier to its staff.
Wollberg has been hired as a District Sales Manager. He is located in Arlington, Neb. and is responsible for sales in Dodge, Washington and Burt counties in Nebraska.
Wollberg grew up on a farm near Scribner, Neb. He received an associate’s degree from Northeast Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and previously worked at First National Bank of Omaha.
“My passion has always been in the agricultural industry,” Wollberg said. “I joined Hoegemeyer Hybrids as an opportunity to sell quality products and deliver excellent customer service.”
Langemeier has recently taken a position of Sales Agronomist for Hoegemeyer. As a member of the agronomy team, he will provide agronomy support to DSM’s in Nebraska and Kansas.
Born and raised at Scribner, Neb., Langemeier received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Agronomy with an emphasis in Plant Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His thesis focused on Goss’s Wilt, which is a key advantage for Hoegemeyer. Langemeier previously worked as a Supply Chain Coordinator for the company.
“I joined Hoegemeyer because I knew I would be working with knowledgeable people who are committed to serving their customers,” Langemeier said. “They are a great company who will allow me to grow in my career.”
“We’re excited to have Brandon and Craig join the Hoegemeyer staff,” said Stephan Becerra, Hoegemeyer general manager. “They both have a great deal of enthusiasm and passion for agriculture and have a good understanding of the unique agronomics of the Western Corn Belt.”
