Arysta LifeScience India recently entered into an agreement with Syngenta India for marketing of its fungicide KINSTA® (azoxystrobin 23% SC). Azoxystrobin is a broad-spectrum strobilurin fungicide effective against all four types of fungi, including ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, deuteromycetes and zygomycetes. KINSTA is labelled for use on grapes, chillies, mangoes and tomatoes.

Every year, fungal diseases account for crop losses of up to 20-30 percent in India. KINSTA offers a solution for control of some of the most damaging diseases, such as downy and powdery mildew of grapes, fruit rot and powdery mildew of chillies, anthracnose and powdery mildew on mangoes, and early and late blight on tomatoes.

“Arysta LifeScience sees a good opportunity for leveraging KINSTA throughout our strong distribution network in many vegetable and fruit crops,” said S. Under the agreement between the two companies, Arysta LifeScience India will co-market KINSTA and provide extensive market access and penetration of the Indian market.
