SEEDWAY recently hosted its 50th Annual Kickoff Meeting for Northern Division farm seed dealers. The event was held in Hall, NY with dealers from Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania in attendance. The kickoff meeting recognized SEEDWAY’s fifty years of business and launched the 2014 sales season. The annual kickoff meeting has been held every year since the company’s inception in 1963.

Following a successful farm seed sales season, twenty-five SEEDWAY dealers were recognized for sales accomplishments in 2013 and eight dealers were presented with career sales achievement awards.

New programs were introduced to participants and SEEDWAY® and NK® corn and soybean plots were toured. Dealers participated in a trade show by partner-sponsors Syngenta-NK®, Allied Seed-Farm Science Genetics®, Lallemand-Biotal®, Blue River Hybrids, Novozymes-TagTeam® LCO, Grassland Oregon, Brett Young Seed and Ampac Seed Company.

The NY meeting marked the final of three events commemorating SEEDWAY’s 50th anniversary. In July, an event was held in Hershey, PA for the commercial vegetable seed business and in August, an event in Lewisburg, PA was conducted for Southern Division farm seed dealers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
