On June 20th, the brand new factory of Fowler Westrup, India, was inaugurated. The investment is in line with the visionary growth strategy for the group and opens a wide range of opportunities for future growth to comply with the increasing interest in the high quality seed processing equipment offered to the seed industry.

The ceremony was performed by a federal state minister with the presence of guests joining from many corners of the world.

The test factilities in the new factory

The new factory is located in Malur, near Bangalore, and encompasses 18,000 m2 under roof and office areas of approximately 2,000 m2. The factory provides space for 400 employees and signifies an increasing demand from the industry for the high quality machines produced by Fowler Westrup. The factory also accommodates modern test facilities to be ahead in R&D and product development in order to offer top quality equipment incorporating the latest technology to customers in India as well as globally.
