SGS Agriculture Services offers webinar on the U.S. Federal Seed Act and international shipments

Brookings, North Dakota, USA
November 13, 2009

Our monthly webinar topic for November/December deals with proper labeling for seed according to the Federal Seed Act and the requirements for international shipments.

Dates: November 19 & 24, 2009
Time: 10:00 am Central

Join us for 30 minutes while we present this free webinar on:

  • Federal Seed Act that specifies the regulations for shipping seed between states in the United States in regards to purity and germination.
  • ISTA Orange Seed Lot and ISTA Blue Seed Sample certificates and how they help move seed internationally.
  • International shipping concerns regarding requirements by the customer, country and Customs which may require phytosanitary, GMO analysis, or other analysis.

We offered this same webinar last December and had terrific attendance. This summer, in our webinar survey, this topic received the 3rd highest number of votes so we are offering it once more.

Please contact Le Walls at (605) 696-5662 or email leann.walls@sgs.com for more details.
