Dairyland Seed recently announced the release of new corn hybrids for the 2010 planting season.
The descriptions of these products follow:
Stealth-6985 - 85 Day
Exceptional plant heath establishes an outstanding yield platform and drives strong performance in the fall. Good all around disease scores. Reliable performance year-in and year-out. Best yields are attained with high plant populations. Contains the Agrisure GT® herbicide trait.
286 Family - 86 Day
High yielding “286” family features excellent agronomics. Available in: Stealth-9286SSX (SmartStax), Stealth-9286 (YieldGard VT Triple® and Roundup Ready®) and Stealth-6286 (Roundup Ready®). Top end yield production with very good stress tolerance from both drought and disease. Adapts well to varying soil types. Excellent early season vigor.
HiD.F.-3187-7 – 87 Day Silage
New YGCB/RR silage product is a perfect fit for areas that desire corn borer protection with the flexibility of RR, but do not need the CRW trait. High tonnage, strong nutritional scores and high milk per acre rankings.
Stealth-7790 - 90 Day
Strong yield potential with very good late season health and very strong roots. Consistent, stable hybrid protected with Herculex®, Liberty Link®, and Roundup Ready®.
Stealth-6992 - 92 Day
Roundup Ready® hybrid with very strong yield performance in research trials. Best suited east of I-35.
395 Family - 95 Day
Very strong yields and good drydown. Very strong performance in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Very good plant health lets you move it west into the Dakotas without greensnap concerns. Available in: Stealth-9395SSX (SmartStax™) and Stealth-9395 (VT3®).
HiD.F.-3195Q – 95 Day Silage
Our earliest HiD.F. Q product for 2010. Very tall, high tonnage hybrid with great eye appeal during the season. Excellent milk per acre with a long grain filling period. (Also available in the conventional version.)
597 Family - 97 Day
