Canterra Seeds Holdings Ltd. announced today that Mr. David Hansen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Currently, David is the North Asia Pacific Regional Manager for Agrotain International. Prior to this he spent 5 years in China as the General Manager for Delta and Pine Land Company. His over 30 years of seed and agribusiness experience also includes a position with Agrotain International as their Canadian Market Manager and with Advanta Seeds and its predecessor Zeneca Seeds.

David will assume his position on October 13, 2009. He succeeds acting Chief Executive Officer, Gerry Cantin who will return to his role as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
