Herbicide-resistant waterhemp is becoming more common and more problematic across much of the corn growing region of the Midwest.
The latest ‘Focus on Corn’ webcast, “Waterhemp: Management Considerations for Field Corn”, Dr. Aaron Hager, Associate Professor of Weed Science at the University of Illinois, helps address this issue by discussing the biological characteristics of waterhemp and how these characteristics can influence the success or failure of herbicide programs.
This 60-minute presentation is open access through March 31, 2013. View this and other ‘Focus on Corn’ presentations at www.plantmanagementnetwork.org/foc.
