Seed quality even more visible with improved ClearView seed bags from Golden Acres Genetics

Waco, Texas, USA
October 1, 2009

For two years now, Golden Acres Genetics’ ClearView bags have provided a great way to check the quality of the seed inside the packaging without having to open the bag. This year, Golden Acres has developed a new and better hybrid, Genuity™ VT Triple PRO™, and a new and better bag to go along with it. The new ClearView window in the Genuity™ VT Triple PRO™ bags extends the entire length of the bag gussett from top to bottom, giving farmers an even better view of the quality inside.

“The window doesn’t replace good labeling,” said Golden Acres president Lou Buice. “Instead, it provides an easy way to check the seed quality and treatment while it’s being delivered or picked up. The window also allows farmers to inspect their seed before opening the bag and dumping it into the planter. It’s reassuring to know exactly what you’re opening before pulling the string.”

Like any other high quality seed bag, the ClearView bag protects the seed and opens easily. The enlarged transparent window also shows the seed inside while the bags are stacked and sealed tight. Only Golden Acres’ Genuity™ VT Triple PRO™ bags have this full length window.

“ClearView is the first innovation in seed bag packaging to hit the industry in a long time,” Buice said. “We’re excited that this latest advance in technology was developed exclusively by Golden Acres Genetics.”

As an independent and family-owned company based in Waco, Texas, Golden Acres Genetics focuses 100% of its efforts on the southern states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas to select the best traits and genetics for southern soils. Everyone at Golden Acres, from the president down, walks the fields and examines plots to find the best performing corn and grain sorghum seed and related technologies to market to farmers across the southern half of the United States.
