GreenLeaf Genetics announces the addition of Rodney Busick to its trait sales staff

Omaha, Nebraska, USA
September 8, 2009

GreenLeaf Genetics LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Rodney Busick to the company’s Trait Sales Staff.

Busick provides support to independent seed companies as they incorporate Agrisure® traits into their product portfolio. His role will be to assist in helping customers choose the best trait mix for their business operations, marketing strategies and geographical areas. “I am excited to be a part of a company that brings together trait technology and germplasm from two leading companies in the industry – DuPont and Syngenta,” said Busick.

According to Bryan Kliewer, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, “The outstanding performance and demand for GreenLeaf Genetics germplasm and Agrisure traits requires us to shrink sales territories so that we can continue to deliver the comfortable business approach our customers want. Rodney Busick’s extensive experience in the seed and trait industry will enable him to bring value to independent seed companies.”

Busick spent the previous 16 years with Syngenta Seeds in sales, management, training and agronomy. During his tenure at Syngenta Seeds, he served on the Sales Advisory Board for NK Seeds.

Busick is a graduate of Purdue University in Agricultural Economics and resides in Decatur, Indiana, with his wife Sandra and three daughters.

GreenLeaf Genetics LLC, a joint venture between Syngenta and Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., a subsidiary of DuPont, offers licenses for corn and soybean genetic material to foundation seed houses and seed companies and facilitates the licensing of biotech traits from its parent companies. GreenLeaf Genetics is currently helping more than 200 seed companies to access genetics and traits from Syngenta and Pioneer.
