XVth Meeting of the EUCARPIA Section Biometrics in Plant Breeding - Conference announcement and call for papers

We cordially invite you to participate in the XVth Meeting of the EUCARPIA Section Biometrics in Plant Breeding.

The meeting will take place on 5-7 September 2012 in Hohenheim, Germany.

Registration is now open at https://eucarpia-biometrics-2012.uni-hohenheim.de/87528

The online registration has been extended until June 20. The registration fee is 300 € for Eucarpia members and 330 € for non-members.

Papers and posters should address any of the following five topics selected by the scientific committee:

  • Genomic and marker assisted selection
  • Implementation of breeding strategies in public and private sector programs
  • Analysis and use of high throughput data in plant breeding (omics, NGS, and phenotyping platforms)
  •  Phenotypic data: Experimental design and analysis for single and multiple experiments
  • Various

The submission deadline has been extended until June 20, 2012.

Submissions of abstracts for oral presentations and posters can be sent via e-mail to hartung@uni-hohenheim.de.

We have eight invited speakers:

  • Mikko Sillanpäa (University of Helsinki, Finland)
  • Oliver Stegle (Max-Planck-Institut, Tübingen, Germany)
  • Emlyn Williams (Austalian National University, Canberra, Australia)
