Dairyland Seed recently announced the National and State winners for its annual Corn and Soybean Yieldmaster Contests.
The title of National Corn Yieldmaster was awarded to Edge of Night Farms of Stockton, IL with a yield of 296.86 bushels per acre with Stealth-9006. Loras McQuillen of Holy Cross, IA, were awarded National Soybean Yieldmaster with a yield of 98.02 bushels per acre with DSR-234/RR.

The Early Zone Soybean Yieldmaster was awarded to Krafft Farms of Frankenmuth, MI, with a yield of 84.20 bushels per acre with DSR-1710/R2Y, and the Early Zone Corn Yieldmaster was awarded to Kevin Immel of Eden, WI, who entered Stealth-9799 with a yield of 246.15 bushels. Individual state winners were also awarded.
According to Tom Strachota, Dairyland Seed General Manager, "American farmers play a substantial role in both feeding the world and helping the U.S. economy. Yields like these from top producers show our future is in good hands as long as we do our part and continue to provide farmers improved genetics."
